I lost my keys to my chevy cobalt as  (2006)!
I need new keys made but can't afford till
payday but the car is in a bad area, can I
break the tumblers start the car?

Thanks for the input, i already knew that was going to be the case but i needed to hear it from somebody else because i seem to have a habit of making irrational decisions when unexpected. unneeded mishaps like this happen and i usually end up regretting them later! But i'm glad i asked cause even though i am a mechanic for a living i have never dealt with security systems or chip keys cause thats not my department obviously! hence the idiotic question! But thanks for the help!
