11 Codes out of nowhare

Asked by heagle Feb 19, 2017 at 06:12 PM about the 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was wiring a second cigarette outlet into my car via, straight battery
connection, and i noticed a wire harness was unplugged. I but it back in
where i thought it went and started my car. My Check engine light was
blinking non-stop. It would not give my the codes or erase them for 30 min.
After 30 Min I used my code reader again (OBD 2) and got the following.

P0130, P0136, P0500, P1100, P1101, P1120, P1121, P1540, P0130,
P0136, P0500. I know there are 3 repeats.

All codes where not previously there. It happened after i wired my cigarette
outlet.

Do you know what these codes are? I was just looking at them and all different. Throttle Positioning Sensor, O2 sensors, Starter Switch, Wheel speed sensors, and what ever. Did you ever notice if the engine was running rough of having any problems that you notice? And a plugin just doesn't come unplugged.

I figured it out. Your right, the don't just come unplugged. It was a green wire harnest and its not supposed to be plugged in. Everything runs the same. Just the green harnest is notorious for people thinking it needs to be plugged. Thanks for your help Rowefast
