Interior Dome Light Trouble

Asked by Twilight Aug 30, 2009 at 04:10 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LT Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The interior dome light (including the two little lights for the backseat) went out in my Cobalt a few weeks ago. I finally got around to buying a replacement fuse today and two new fuses burned out in a row when they made contact with their spot in the fuse box. Does this mean I've got something more serious to deal with? or am I just installing the fuse incorrectly? One word: FRUSTRATING!

you are not installing the fuse incorrectly fuses are in line on the positive side of wiring. fuses aren't a switch which have both positive and negative connections. prob have something a little more serious on your hands suggest looking into finding a mechanic
