2006 cobalt check engine light is flashing and ticking

It run fine when I first started it this
morning and when I was out it started
ticking and running rough then my
check engine light started smoking
when I had the check engine light
checked it came back as a knock
sensor told the guy I was buying it from
about it and he said it just getting low
voltage to it and now this

I had the knock sensor changed and now its running great and the knock sensor is basically the brain for the car
