96 all-wheel drive Subaru Legacy

Asked by Apr 04, 2017 at 09:00 PM about the 1996 Subaru Legacy 4 Dr LS AWD Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The front wheel drive in my 96 Subaru Legacy is no
longer pulling is there anyway I can take and
remove the front axles to make it a rear wheel drive

I am skeptical that the front wheels are not driven. There is a fuse that can be pulled to disable the rear wheels. Why do you say the fronts don't work?

My eyebrows are furrowed too. Regardless, the answer to your imbedded query is NO.
