Why my car stopped on me

Car drive for a few minutes and then stall
out but will start back up

We need more information to help you. When was the last time you did a tuneup?

Indeed there could be any of many issues here. Spray clean your PCV, your throttle body, and maybe even your MAF sensor. Then check plugs and wires (tuneup). Assure all vacuum lines are hooked up too. Easy and cheap stuff first....
