Car died now it won’t start

Asked by Hayden Dec 01, 2019 at 03:31 PM about the 1995 Subaru Legacy LS Sedan AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving home when the temps were about 0
when I lost power while driving. It would then start
a couple times after that but never had any throttle,
would run rough for a few seconds then die. Now it
will still crank but won’t start. I was thinking fuel
pump but can’t get it going with starter fluid either.

'95 LS? Was that the first year of the fragile DOHC 2.5 OB motor? Regardless, check cam and crank sensors for function if you have no spark. Check ignition cables and coilpack too.
