94 legacy wont turn over

My 94 subaru legacy awd l sadan is making
a dinging noise when i turn the key on and
will not turn over. I think its a secerty
sysytem problem but im not 100% sure. Im
not sure how to reset the secerty sysytem.
Any ideas or feed back will help. Thanks

I suspect a weak battery. Try a jump start but you should have your alternator and battery tested. I would also clean and tighten the battery connections.
