2001 RS Brake lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When the car lights are off the brake lights work fine  but if I turn the head lights on the right brake light goes out, we have tried
a new bulb and still happens, any suggestions? my dad and I think its an electrical or switch problem but we are not sure.

Check your socket for any corrosion, if there's corrosion it might happen, also use a volt meter for the switch wire, see if your getting a current thru it, but I'm pretty sure it's the socket

It wasn't that it was a bad harness, had to take it to our local mechanic, 110$ later it was fixed
