I have a 1999 impreza with a 2.5
dohc (bad motor) bought a 1995
outback with 2.2 sohc intake on
both have egr system. Can i just
change intake.harness and coil
pack

Firstly the '99 Imp does NOT have a 2.5i DOHC motor. Secondly, NO, as you'd have to play with cats, O2s and ECM too. Terrible idea.
