My beloved ’04 Subaru Forester...at 160,00 miles?

I've had this valiant Subaru since I drove it new off the lot in Montana. At 14
years, it's a little raggedy, and is starting to have a few wee problems, like a
little oil drip, jerky power steering when it's cold, and I can't fill the tank
without standing there and holding the gas nozzle, because automatic shutoff
kicks in. These seem small matters. 160,000 miles now, and it's never let me
down...BUT. Is there a sort of spa treatment for the old dear, that will make it
happy and ready to roll for another hear or two?

Have a mechanic give you an estimate to fix these things and then decide if it is worth proceeding. The one thing you say that concerns me is the oil drip which may indicate that you are due for head gasket replacement.
