2000 Forester S clutch

I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback and the engine has gone out in it. I
recently found a Subaru Forester S that was needing a clutch. The 1998 I had
I replaced the whole clutch assembly so I was wondering if the clutches of the
two were interchangeable.
