Car is eating coolant and running WARM?

I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GT... it has 285000 miles
on it... about every three or four days it eats about a half a
gallon of coolant and then gets considerably warm it
doesn't get up into the red because I usually shut it down
wall before that happens, BUT, it does get hot. Mechanic
has already switched out radiator cap, thermostat, 2 water
pumps... first one was bought from Napa, the one in there
now is a GM water pump... this morning he performed the
head gasket test.... absolutely no exhaust in the coolant...
passed with flying colors. He's scratching his head I'm
scratching my head.... it has been a very dependable car
no issues except for this

NO, puddles....NO, white smoke, NO, coolant in the oil...its got me and all the mechanics baffled.... even pressure- tested the system and it held pressure....
