Question type: General

I keep getting low battery alert for keyfob
and replacing the battery and also no
sound when using the fob to unlock car

After putting new battery in the key fob.

It may not be the key fob, it may be the receiver module on the car. I'm not sure what the symptoms are, but they do fail from time to time .

Would that be the ignition? Only other symptom I have is no sound when I use keyfob to unlock. Thanks for answer.

No, the module I am talking about is separate from the ignition. It receives the signal from the key fob and transmits signals to the locks telling them to operate. You probably need professional help diagnosing this one.

Thank you!
