Wondering if  3800 series 2 V-6 engine out of a 2002
Monte Carlo will fit into my 2006 Grand Prix. Which has a
3800 series 3 engine in it

Yessir it will fit. Just the II series makes less power and has less options (no Drive by wire, slower ECU/ PCM)

You can make it but you're not going to just bolt on and be done.
