Car is possessed. Please Help!

Asked by GeorgiaGirl11 Jan 14, 2016 at 05:06 AM about the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So from the beginning. Headlights wont always go
off even after i turn switch off. (Tricky sometimes
it works fine)

Next thing i hear water bubbles or sloshing around
but none in car or on floor.  Stops after a while.

Car lost power and completely shut off while
driving.  Altenator is fine, battery is cool, ground
wire was replaced because it was bad.

Was able to get started again but it shut of when i
pressed breaks to put car in gear. Then power
flicked off completely and clicked like battery was
loose.. not sure where to begin. Oh i replaced
starter already  so im clueless..

headlights sound like a stuck relay. easy to change. the bubbling is probably a clogged heater core. I had the same issue. I would say check your battery terminal connectors. and probably replace them. i

I agree with dave except the battery terminals likely just need to be cleaned and tightened. How do you know the battery is good? Did you have it load tested? If not you should have that done to be certain its not the problem. And if the battery terminals are clean and tight look for a faulty connection elsewhere. Find the problem before replacing anything else.
