Car Sounds Like It's Turning Over but Doesn't. What Could Be Causing false start?

Asked by Ericca Dec 02, 2015 at 11:32 AM about the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes when i go to turn my car on, it'll
turn over and sound like it started up and
the lights on my stereo will come on and
everything but technically the car isnt on so
i'll turn it off and turn it back on and the car
will fully kick on. What could be causing
this?

Sounds like you are having a fuel deliver issue. Have the pump pressure tested when the car is cold....
