Asked by GuruNB7CC Oct 25, 2019 at 06:54 PM about the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’m having issues with my abs sensor
it’s been repaired three times and still
goes on and stays on then the car
acts like it’s slipping when braking and
I can’t move the car..Also the lights
stopped working on the dashboard for
reverse drive and neutral..Could this
be the transmission?

It could be a bunch of things, most, if not all of them being electrical/electronic in nature. Find a shop that specializes in auto electrical work and get them to track it down. Could be bad grounds, broken down wiring, loose or dirty electrical connections or failed electrical components, all of which are nearly impossible to find without the proper tools and experience.
