Sqeaking noise

So, yesterday my vehicle started squealing
when I shifted from N to D & it still makes
the sound when parked.
When I bought it the guy said i would need to
change the belt soon. Which belt is it? &
could it possible be something else. I have a
05 grand prix

There is only one belt on there. It is called the serpentine belt. Causes for a squeaking serpentine belt are a bad belt tensioner, and any of the idler pulleys. These would need to be checked when replacing the serpentine belt.
