Did you take yours off and then put it back on making sure it threads and seats properly? If you did, you likely need a new cap (or possibly the tube from the filler neck to the charcoal canister is blocked or disconnected).
Changing the vapor cannister vent valve solenoid worked for me. 2004 Grand Prix GT2
