Pontiac Grand Prix 2004 won't fire

Asked by Christian Jan 10, 2016 at 08:32 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT1

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My pontiac will fire some days and not others. It's
like it has a mind of its own. When it does crank it
drives great. It has a new motor and is in great
condition. It has been checked on a computer and
says nothing is wrong.

Then check fuel pressure. Next time it does not start spray some starting fluid in the air intake to see if it fires off. If it does, then there is a fuel issue.
