Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Pontiac Grand Prix will not start although
components light up stating that it has
energy from the battery but it will not turn
over. What do I need to do to get my car
start.

Make sure all the connections to the battery are tight. Try jump starting it with another car. The battery may be strong enough to light the lights, but not strong enough to turn the starter. If not there are several possibilities including a problem with the ignitions switch or a failed starter. Sounds like it might be time to have it towed in to a shop for a professional appraisal. Don't start spending money on parts until you actually figure out what's wrong.
