Question type: General

My car runs fine for some time and then just starts dieing out in the middle of the road
while driving. The steering wheel locks up too. I take the keys out and re start the car and
at times it starts and runs fine for some time and few times it makes some weird sound
when i re start my car. Also, the service engine soon indicator is on but my dealer says its
due to a faulty code. Also, when my car dies out, the trac off indicator turns on.
Any idea what migt be going on?

Possibly loose battery connections or loose frame and motor ground connection. Go to auto zone and have codes read. Then post them back on here. They will give use clues as to what's going on.

Hi, I did go to Auto Zone and Auto Parts and they gave me different codes. The code i got from auto zone is c0236 and the other from auto parts is p0446. I also took my car to a mechanic ( Meineke) and they were not able to find out the problem causing this. Please suggest what might the issue be.
