Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a cable hanging around my battery. It has P.E.D. which makes me
assume it goes to the lights. Car runs and lights all work, Im just curious where
its home is.

See if the coolant level sensor is plugged in. It's a square box on the radiator, a few inches below the radiator cap and just under the metal transmission cooling line. These sensors can be troublesome if they get dirty or the original radiator was replaced causing the "low coolant" light to remain on all the time. To shut off the light a lot of people just unplug the sensor. HTH. -Jim

Agree, it looks like a sensor cable has been disconnected. Could also be the temp sensor. Just look around the reach of the cable for the mating half.
