i think i have broken wire somewhere from my fuel pump up to the engine

I replaced fuel pump relay, checked all fuses, run a pos. and neg. wire from  the battery
to the fuel pump plug, I can hear the NEW  pump run, but when I spray a tiny bit of either
in the throttle body it runs, Does any one know how I can trace the  harness to either replace or try to find the bad /broken wire, I'd like to know how the HARNESS is routed
