Electrical issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi there. My car won't start in the morning. Dead
battery. So I bought a new battery. Same problem
so I had my alternator checked out. Works just
fine. If I boost it in the morning it will run and
restart all day but the next morning the battery will
be dead again. I don't understand and am not a
happy camper right now

Sounds like you have something slowly draining your battery while using very little current like a circuit that is not turning off when you shut the car off. To check for this, connect an amp meter between the positive battery terminal and the positive battery cable (after disconnecting the cable from the battery). You should see zero current on the meter. If there is a reading, then go to the fuse panel and begin pulling fuses one by one until the current flow stops. That will indicate which circuit you need to trouble shoot to find the actual problem.
