boost/vacuum leak

change the fuel filter too to be safe.

A plugged catalytic converter also comes to mind, Also have it scanned for trouble codes. In any event, do proper diagnostics first. You don't want to get carried away spending money on random parts and hoping for a miracle cure on a car this old. Good luck.
