Dear tlanglin-- My own personal guru, Tom Fahy of the Newton Street Garage in Brighton, Ma., tells me that he and his friends used to interchange engines from one car to another all the time back when they were kids just learning the difference between and carburetor and a camshaft. "As long as the transmission fits and the motor mounts line up you should be okay," he says. Of course you may have some custom wiring to do to complete the job, he adds. Let me know how you do. Good luck from Bovan.
