i got a 2004 pontiac grand am 3.4 sedan and it has a tick in the motor but not all the time could this be a thin oil problem or a hydraulic liffter issue

Probably a lifter. The V6 engine is also know for making noise on start up. The piston skirts are short and the pistons move in the bore until they expand.

The only thing is that it does it after its at running temp and not all the time like if I stop at a red light then when I take off until the rpms are up you hear this loud chatter or tick I tryed lucus and sea foam still doing it the car only has 130k miles so not sure what to do next any ideas
