Hi guys, I'm hoping you can keep
me from beating my head against
the wall, I have found through
previous experience that that only
hurts. I bought a 2004 Grand am
not running. Believed it to be a
head gasket problem. Replace
head gaskets found one to be
blown. Still can't get decent
compression, 64 lb average. Also
engine wants to blow water out of
coolant reservoir. My son and I are
running out of ideas, and he needs
this car to get back and forth to
work. Any help, any advice, would
be appreciated and helpful.

Sounds like you still have a leaking head gasket. Did you resurface the heads?

No I didn't. Maybe poor planning huh!? But would that explain blowing water out of the coolant reservoir?

A warped head will not seal properly. You always want to have the heads checked for warp before reinstalling them.
