2004 grand am 3400 engine, i have 40 lb oilpresure and no oil to lifters until engine warms up, than sounds good, i have full power, can some one help, Walt

No oil to lifter on cold start, after 3 to 4 min it quiets down.
Oil pressure 40 psi and car run great, after warm, oil seams to not say in the
lifters when not running or warm.
Please help.Walt

Just cold and miles on the engine...Oil should be 5W30 weight...you can put an additive into the oil to help free up lifters from varnish, just go to your local parts store to see what they recommend.
