bad or lose of fuel pressure will cause a lack acceleration, clogged injectors will cause the same issue.

Are you due for a tune up? If you have over 100,000 miles on the vehicle, you're due for a tune up. Is the service engine soon or check engine light flashing? If so the engine is misfiring and damaging the catalytic converter. Could also be a failing coil pack. Ignition systems usually break down under load. Like going up a hill. If a coil pack is failing, replace all three. The other two are soon to follow. HTH. -Jim
