Overheating

Asked by May 13, 2018 at 04:41 PM about the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am Gt 3400 engine,
the system has been completely flushed, had
some white residence on oil filler cap, added 1 can
of K&W block seal to cooling system, neither of the
temp. sensors have been changed out. Cranked
and ran it for about 40 minutes, ran to the boiling
point where the water was coming out of the
recovery reservoir. What could be the problem.
Someone please help me on this issue, truly
puzzled.
