What does it mean when I have all these lights on on my dashboard?

Asked by Rhonda Oct 16, 2016 at 07:35 AM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a 2002 grand am GT and it
came with the ~ trac off, service vehicle
soon, ABS, and the  ( (!) ) (Ⓟ) [in red]
(parking break) - lights all on. I was told it
had been sitting for a couple years, and
they could easily be cleared, but they all
came right back on when I started up the
car. The front headlight is out, so I was told
either that may be what is causing the
service vehicle light to go on, or that it
needed an oil change, after which a reset
button would turn it off, but haven't tried
either yet (only had it 2 days now).  I don't
believe the ETS button is working, but I
just read to try pushing that, and I will. I'm
a little scared because I just read on your
site that a collection of warning lights such
as these, and one that includes 3/4 of
these, could mean something altogether
different than what they say, like a bad
wheel bearing assembly, or a harness
could be the problem, and this sounds
expensive!  Also, my dashboard started
clicking yesterday out of the blue, then it
would only start clicking after I had used
one of my signals, and now it stopped
altogether, if this means or adds anything
to my issue! Thanks in advance for any
help!
