Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The bolt that holds the tensioner pulley into the engine block keeps coming out and my
belt and pulley fall off! Is it possible that the bolt is the wrong size or maybe the threads
inside the block are wore out?

If you're talking about the pulley, and not the tensioner mount itself, just replace the entire tensioner assembly. It's about $50, and not all that difficult to do in a driveway. If it's the entire assembly that coming loose from the engine, that's another story. If the bolt is the right bolt (make sure!) then chances are the threads are stripped. It's not a difficult repair but it is time-consuming and tedious. You'll need to jack the engine a bit (disconnect motor mount), and remove the old tensioner. Drill out tapped hole and install a Helicoil to restore the threads.

does bolt have stripped threads? broken bolt? get a new bolt after measuring it and depth of hole minus1/16 and install usually 3/8 or 7/16x1to1 1/8long

The tensioner pulley had been replaced along with a new longer bolt which broke clean in half inside the cylinder head.We have already replaced the pulleys and put on a new belt as well. Now the bolt is stuck in there and we've tried to use a left hand drill to get it out but it didnt work.So we've almost drilled the entire bolt to shreds trying to get it out.Nothings working.

Go ahead and drill it out completely. You'll need a helicoil insert to restore the threads, it's not that difficult. Use locktight on the helicoil before threading it into place, and let it set up overnight.
