I need help with my 2000 pontiac grand am SE 2.4L twin cam 4 cylinder

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Well, I bought this car used from
someone on craigs list. Yes I
know stupid right? I was
desperate and it was worth
1,200 until now. I have already
put $600 dollars into this car so
far. Everything was cool when I
bought it. I drove it for 2 weeks
and it broke down on me. Its like
the dude I bought it from knew it
was going to. Well anyways I
had to buy a new catalytic
converter because the other one
that was on the car was busted,
rusted and the porcelain honey
comb thing was broken and
rattling inside of it, next I had to
buy a resonater as well . Oh my
goodness the previece owner
welded together a resonator that
didnt fit the car to both the
exhaust pipe and the catalytic
converter. Stupid ass dude. For
now on I will always look under
the car to see whats going on
down under . After me and my
dad did the repairs it still
wouldnt get enough juice,
wouldnt stay running, misfired
alot it sounded like steam boat
willy. It wouldnt allow me to go
anywhere. So I started thinking
that my car was choking like it
couldnt breathe so I looked at
the muffler and it was grossly
clogged with grime and other
grud so me and my dad took the
old muffler off and checked the
muffler pipe and that is still good
no damage and wasnt clogged.
So I bought a new muffler along
with four muffler clamps. I also
had to buy new spark plugs,
spark plug boots, the first coil
pack, the second one is still
good. Now it will stay running
and let me drive it but not too far
but still misfires while in idle but
doesnt when driving. It seems to
still not get enough juice so now
I am looking at the fuel injectors.
There are four of them to test
and see which one of those it
could be. So I had to find which
fuse to pull to release pressure
and took it out and now there is
a leak under the car. It is a
clearish brown oily liquid. Im
thinking that could be oil or
something of that kind. I did a
diagnostic test on it and it read
cylinder 1 misfire. Please help
me figure out what this could be
and how to fix my car. This is my
first car and I hope i can keep it.

I have 2001 Grand Prix same thing. Check the coil pack for that cylinder could have a bad one.

Injector bad not turning on get oems meter check for continuity on the injector itself. If no continuity replace it . Also can be coil pack too but that's it
