security ligt flashing wont start and when we charge battery it dies with in 10 mins

started a month ago the security light started flashing and I could not start my car put key in the on positon sat for a bit then the light went to solid and started right up.  now the light is back on and wont start and goes completely dead. we have reset the key and disconnected the battery any suggestions would be great thank you.

Well, I'm going to take a guess that your car is newer than 1988 and if it is then I'd say it has to do with the immobilizer and that your security system is cutting fuel to the engine. try and bypass the immobilizer. First, you need to figure out your immobilizer bypass number(should be in your handbook or in servicing records) then follow this video sounds kinda weird but it might work? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DETcII4Zh_s
