Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I filled my gas tank, then parked my
car at a friends and when I went to
leave about two or three hours  it
wouldnt start. It made a clicking noise
almost but wouldnt start.  We tried
jumping my car but my battery wasnt
the issue. After towing it to my
parents house we have since then
replaced the fuel pump and starter,
along with a fuel treatment but still no
start. Any ideas ?

try disconnecting your battery for about 15 minutes to 30 minutes make sure you have your stereo's security code if you still have the stock stereo. Doing this will reboot your cars computer system and security system. this is a common issue with Pontiac where the security system disallows you to turn the car back on because of a glitch in the computer system. once you hook the battery back up turn the key forward and do not start it. leave it for about 3-5 minutes and do it about 3 times this will also work without a disconnecting the battery it should reboot the security in the car as well. if it does not start right after try waiting an hr then try starting it again and it should start if this is the issue. im not sure this will work but its worth a shot
