1997 Grand Am 4 cyl won't start?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just had new exhaust, sensors, and a starter put in. Now, it will turn over, but will not
start. What could be causing this?My mechanic is baffled.

the ignition or "start" relay is probably at fault here...not because it is faulty, but because there is an undervoltage condition going on here....12.5 Volts battery voltage must be assured....five years old and the battery is an old man these days with the tin/antimony alloy instead of LEAD....SO get a new battery and wirebrush the end of the 1/0 cable as it attaches to the chassis/ground...removing all corrosion...then bolt them back~
