97 Grand Am - keys stuck in ignition?

I put my keys in the ignition this morning and they could turn all the way, but the car didnt
start and the lights didnt turn on or anything. Now the keys are stuck. I've tried jiggling the
shifter (which is in park) and the steering wheel but they're still stuck. Any ideas on how to
fix this or at least get the keys out?

A couple ideas. Try wd40 on the key. Try to connect the jumper cables and see if you can start the car,the battery might be dead.
