cant tell ya how not to get air in it but can help with getting it out . go to the highest point in your cooling system i.e., rad hose or thermostat housing also look for a bleeder valve. no matter what you use it has to be higher than your radeator . start your car let it warm up , untill your thermostat opens . if you turn on your heater and feel warm air than your thermostat is open. then all you do is open your bleeder valve or loosen rad hose untill the air escapes be carefull the antifreez will be hot. good luck!
