Where is flasher located on 1992 Grand Am Quad 4? Can't find behind instrument panel

i thought that one was on the side of the column, mounted under the plastic cladding. There is 2 on that car though one controls the turn signals one does the emergency flashers. If the one on the column does the flashers it is way up under the dash, difficult to find, near the column hanging on the wires, not mounted.
