air not blowing through front vents

recently i have discovered that no air will blow through my front vents. only my defrost and
floor vents work. whats wrong and how much would it cost to fix?

I'm not completely sure about GM but when my Ford f150 (99) would only blow through the defrost there were three black tubes with blue rings on the end connecting into a single plastic piece and the plastic was broke and i just took off the plastic and connected them with electrical tape and it worked, hope that helps.
