would a severe leak in the windshield fluid container cause the battery to act like it is dead and if dried out work again?

Had car repaired. Needed a hose from radiator to engine on the side of the
battery,  Car worked fine , then was not starting. Took everything out to look at
battery. Noticed wwfluid was leaking out the pump hole. Car was dead then
started to have some life then dead again, Wiped batery off of fluid and left
hood open,  car lights started to work again. I havent tried to start it yet.

Pull the battery cables off and clean them with baking soda / water solution. See if that helps the problem.
