power washing 1991 engine

Do you recommend powerwashing the engine of a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera?  If
so, do I need to prepare the engine, or distributor cap, etc...in any way?

Hi I was my 92 under the hood once or twice a month. Just don't concentrate the water on or under the distributor or any fuse/relay boxes and you will be fine.
