My truck started leaking coolant a few
weeks ago .. a few days ago it started
running hot & making awful noises.  My
Husband replaced the thermostat
yesterday but it's still running hot and
leaking water when we drive it even going

be hind the grill of the truck is not coming

The fan is a must to work. Also did he purge the cooling system from the air pockets? And there is no sense driving this when it is leaking. Hopefully you have not damaged the head gasket. But the water pump can be another issue, may be bad, could be where the leak is.
