The driver's side rear view mirror, that is controlled by the interior door console swithc, moves in only 2 directions. What should be checked?

Just replaced he mirror with a used unit.  All else is good except there is no response for up and right movements.

Grab a multimeter and check for continuity through the wiring. If you find that there is no voltage coming from the connector then you know it's a faulty wire or switch. If there is voltage, you know that there's an issue inside your new mirror

what about the control module relays in drivers side door- i have an issue when you activate rear drivers side window the drivers window goes down. about the the same time my side mirrors only work in down and in positions
