The heat in my 2001 mercury grand marquis wont work , I just put a new blower motor on and a new thermostat, fuses are good relays are good but it wont do anything, defrost works ok but thats it.

Vacuum controlled Mixer vent is not opening to hot air With the engine running .. change from floor to defrost or from defrost to normal .... you should hear the vents. next move the temp control and you should hear something under the dash ... make sure the linkage is connected
