starts-runs one second-stops. How do I fix it?

If I leave the key on for 3 minutes before starting, it will run for 2 seconds before it stops. Anyone know what's wrong?

fuel filter.. or the sock on the pump itself could be dirty...... fuel relay switch or the inertia switch might possibly at fault... fuel driver modual???............ too little information to know more

sounds like a fuel problem, like mentioned before start with changing your fuel filter, could be the fuel pump.
