Digital speedometer installment

I have a 2000 grand marquis that I love so much, I need to install a digital
speedometer on it however it has a normal one. Is this possible?

Thanks for the replay, l already checked with some mechanics and yes they said its costly. Would you elaborate more about how a programmer can do this and what he needs to so?

Your smart phone + an app will give you a pretty good digital speedometer.
